What a magnificent time we will have on this 14-day "Footsteps of Paul" tour as we cover three segments:

Istanbul, Türkiye —

We fly into Istanbul and spend two days enjoying this marvelous city which sits on two continents. It is just a few hours from Troas from which Paul traveled to Greece on his second missionary journey.

 

Greece —

On the second segment of our tour we travel in Greece and follow the apostle Paul's footsteps on his missionary journey. We see majectic ancient ruins, take time for a devotional at the Zygakti River near where Lydia was baptized, view artifacts from the tomb of Philip of Macedon, learn about the oracles of Delphi, stand on Mars Hill from which Paul preached the powerful sermon we have recorded in Acts 17, reflect at the bema in Corinth where Paul stood trial…

 

Aegean Sea Cruise —

Our cruise on this brilliant blue sea caps an unparalleled tour of this part of the world. Our activities include strolling on wonderful Greek islands, viewing the iconic windmills on Mykonos, enjoying a gelato on Santorini, visiting the cave from which John is reported to have written the Revelation, and enjoying a tour of Ephesus where Paul stayed for a few years preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

This tour gives us a greater understanding of the Greek culture and how it opened up the world to evangelism during the early days of the church, but it will also help us realize how much persecution Paul underwent because his heart's desire was to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

We will have many experiences, take scores of photos, strengthen our faith and end a fantastic tour wishing we had just a little more time in this country where so much Bible history took place.
